Everyone accesses healthcare at some point in their lives. We are all patients. Many of us have also supported family members and friends in their journeys through the health system.

BC Ministry of Health's Patients as Partners initiative has committed to putting patients first in healthcare, and by extension their families.

Better patient experience in healthcare is important for several reasons:
