Rehabilitation

Healthy Heart Society of BC creates and manages programs relating to the prevention and management of chronic disease, with a focus on cardiovascular disease.

Rehabilitation can extend life expectancy and improve quality of life for people with cardiovascular disease.

The Heart Manual is a home-based self-management program for people with coronary artery disease and related conditions. Patients are guided through the Heart Manual program by a trained Facilitator.

Through the Heart Manual program, Healthy Heart Society of BC aims to increase availability of and access to cardiac rehabilitation services to patients.
